It was all about #BlackGirlMagic Sunday afternoon at the private screening of Warner Bros. upcoming drama “Everything, Everything.” The film opens nationwide on Friday, May 19th.

RHOA star Phaedra Parks, former Destiny’s Child star LaTavia Roberson, singer and reality show producer Nicci Gilbert and former Danity Kane singer D. Woods were just a few of the Atlanta notables that watched the film at the SCADshow and then attended the post film brunch at the W Hotel – Midtown.

“Everything, Everything” is the film adaptation of Nicole Yoon’s best selling book of the same name and stars Amandla Stenberg, Anika Noni Rose and Nick Robinson. Stenberg plays Maddy, a smart, curious and imaginative 18-year-old who due to an illness cannot leave the protection of the hermetically sealed environment within her house. Olly, played by Robinson, is the boy next door who won’t let that stop him from showing his love for her. Rose plays her over protective mother, Dr. Whittier.

During the brunch, attendees were able to “chat and chew” with other influencers while Stenberg, Rose and the film’s director, Stella Meghie, discussed some behind-the-scenes details about the movie and the joys of being able to work on an African-American female driven project. The ladies also talked about a number of the film’s themes like love, living and family and why this is a film everyone should see.

Unfortunately, I was double booked yesterday and didn’t get to stay until the very end but check out all of the photos I did capture as well as the film’s trailer below. Also stay tuned to radio show #UPFRONT where I will be talking to the film’s cast and director.
