We also talked about her Reed for Hope Foundation and the work she does with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. We also chatted about current position with BET and her most memorable casting story.
LGBTQ author and playwright Craig Stewart stopped by to talk about his books, Words Never Spoken and OneThing for Certain, Two Things for Sure: A Memoir Continued. We also discussed the importance of the Oscar nominated film, “Moonlight” and what a “Best Picture” win could mean for other LGBTQ stories of color.
Comedic actress Cassi Davis had me cracking up as she talked about working with Tyler Perry in “Boo! A Madea Halloween” + her new OWN series, “The Paynes,” which debuts in 2018. She also talked about marrying her high school sweetheart and finding laughter in everything.
