CONGRATS to my friend and the very talented Nicole Ari Parker. I got a chance to chat briefly with her during the red carpet of the 2017 Trumpet Awards and she told me about her new ABC series due out in March titled, “Time After Time.” I am not sure why this was not already on my radar but as I always say, “better late than never.”
From the looks of the trailer below, “Time After Time” is a one-hour series that follows famed science fiction writer H.G. Wells as he tries to capture notorius serial killer, Jack the Ripper. The very handsome and deadly Ripper, has escaped from London to modern day Manhattan through a time machine and is looking for his next victim.
The show features Parker as Wells great-great granddaughter, Vanessa Anders and is based on Karl Alexander‘s 1979 book of the same name. “Time After Time” also stars Freddie Stroma, Josh Bowman, Genesis Rodriguez, Will Chase and Jennifer Ferrin.
Parker was most recently seen in “Almost Christmas” and on the popular FOX’s series, “Rosewood” alongside Morris Chestnut. “Time After Time” debuts in March.
