Posted by | Ray Cornelius

Oscar winning-hip hop star and celebrated actor Common has teamed up with music legend Stevie Wonder for a new anthem titled “Black America Again.” A two-minute clip of the video was released on Thursday and addresses the recent deaths of Eric Garner and other African-American men who have been violently killed by police officers. The song is reportedly the title single from Common’s upcoming album of the same name.

“Black America Again” was produced by Karriem Riggins and Robert Glasper. It also features Grammy winning-jazz vocalist Esperanza Spalding on bass, Scratches by J Rock, Strings by Patrick Warren and ad libs Chuck D and MC Lyte.
