Check out the trailer for Devyne Johnson‘s new independent film, “Mosaic,” which opens at Atlanta’s Plaza Theatre this weekend—September 24 & 25. The film follows Ruth Anderson, is an ambitious, divorced mother with misplaced priorities and shattered relationships with her immediate family. Hardly an uncommon concern for families, Johnson’s storytelling will shed light on themes relatable to all while offering moments of key reflection that presents healing and hope for families yearning for healthy functionality at its core.

I’m excited about this piece of work; but, more importantly, I’m proud that I could inspire other dreamers to accomplish their respective goals as hired crew,” said Johnson. “No dream can be realized without the collective support of committed believers. MOSAIC wouldn’t be, without all the pieces of our crew. I am a MOSAIC of believers, of dreamers who do! These are the pieces that makes me who I am.” She continues, “[MOSAIC] is my way to thank my support system and encourage others to thank theirs.”

A graduate of Alabama State University, Devyne Johnson launched Artefaekts Entertainment in 2010 as a full service production company that creates original content in the form of short films, animations, feature films and live entertainment. Devyne, whose background is in Costume Design is credited for working on films and television shows such as “Atlanta” (FX), “Stranger Things” (Netflix), “Halt & Catch Fire” (AMC) and the “Ride Along” franchise. She has worked under celebrated producers such as Donald Glover (Childish Gambino), Shawn Levy, Will Packer, Rob Hardy, Kevin Hart and Ice Cube (just to name a few).”

“MOSAIC” will kick off in Atlanta and will make stops in Charlotte, Raleigh, D.C., Nashville, Chicago and L.A.
