NBC hosted a private mix and mingle Thursday night in Atlanta, GA in honor of their new dramatic series “Game of Silence” starring Larenz Tate. The event took place at STK and featured Tate and a few of his celebrity friends.
In “Game of Silence,” five best friends have a dark secret they thought was buried 25 years ago, but they soon discover that you can’t hide your past forever. From the executive producers of “CSI” and “Friday Night Lights” comes a gripping new drama about friendship, love, revenge and the moral dilemma of how far one will go in the pursuit of justice. Tate plays Shawn Polk on the show and says that he can totally relate to tight bonds these characters share.
“I personally have two brothers of my own, Larron and Lahmard and unity is really big. We like to move together as a team.”
“Game of Silence” also stars David Lyons, Claire van der Boom, Michael Raymond-James, Derek Phillips, Bre Blair, Conor O’Farrell, Deidrie Henry, Demetrius Grosse and Gregory Alan Williams. It was also shot on location in Atlanta!
Other celebrities in attendance last night included Grammy winning-rapper and actor Ludacris as well as NAACP Image award winning-actress Vanessa Williams.
