“Creed” star Michael B. Jordan will play the lead in an MGM remake of the classic film, “The Thomas Crown Affair.”

According to Yahoo News, the NAACP Award winning-actor will portray a wealthy businessman who conducts robberies on the side. Things heat up when an insurance investigator starts to track him down and the two begin an affair even as Crown plans another heist.

The original 1968 film starred Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway and was remade in 1999 with Pierce Brosnan and Renee Russo along with a special appearance by Dunaway. There is currently no director or writer attached to the project.
