Janet Jackson’s highly anticipated “Unbreakable World Tour” has come to a screeching halt!
According to Entertainment Tonight, the “No Sleeep” singer has put tour plans on hold in light of her father’s recent health scare. 87-year-old, Joseph Jackson, suffered a stroke last weekend and was admitted to a Brazilian hospital. It is being reported that Janet is there by his side until he remains stable.
So far, Joseph seems to be doing quite well and posted the following message on his website about his current status: “To my family, friends, acquaintances and fans all over the world. I want to thank you all for your prayers, unwavering support and kind well wishes during these trying times,” he wrote. “Through God’s intervention the wonderful Doctors, Nurses and caretakers at the Albert Einstein Sao Paulo hospital have taken great care of me. God willing, I should be able to make a quick recovery and travel back home soon. Thank you all once again for your prayers and support.”
Janet’s “Unbreakable World Tour” is slated to begin August 31 in Vancouver and end the North American leg on March 9, 2016 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Let’s continue to keep the Jackson family in prayer!
Stay tuned!!
