Indie Wire is reporting that Lifetime will air an exclusive interview with Bobby Brown following the debut of the Whitney Houston biopic, “Whitney” this Saturday, January 17 at 10 p.m. EST.
“Bobby Brown: Remembering Whitney” is the title of the special that is hosted by “Access Hollywood” correspondent Shaun Robinson. Reportedly the two will talk about Brown’s marriage to Houston and shed some light on their very public and rocky relationship. This will be first time in quite a while that Brown has opened up about his marriage to Houston since her passing in 2012.
As previously mentioned, “Whitney” follows Houston and Brown’s relationship which began at the height of her musical and film career. Former “America’s Next Top Model” runner up, YaYa DaCosta stars as Houston and Arlen Escarpeta as Brown. Yolonda Ross portrays Houston’s long time personal assistant, Robyn Crawford while stage actress Suzzanne Douglas stars as Cissy Houston. The singing voice of Houston is done by Deborah Cox and the voice of Brown is rising singer Carlos Battey of the Jackie Boyz.
