It’s that time of year again! The city’s stars, agency friends and clients will join Ask April Love PR on Thursday, December 18th at 595 North Event Center for the 5th annual Pink in December event. Presented by global hair care titan Strength of Nature, guests will enjoy live entertainment as the agency honors several influential community members for their remarkable works, raises awareness about the devastating realities of breast cancer and celebrates the fight of breast cancer survivors.
Back by popular demand, The Pink Awards will mark the achievement of four of Atlanta’s hardest working professionals. This year’s categories and honorees are:
The Pink Visionary – Charlene Dance, global marketing director for Strength of Nature Global, LLC.
The Pink Entrepreneur – Richard Dunn, managing partner of Muddy Water Music Group and 20-year music industry veteran
The Pink Samaritan – Chanita Foster, philanthropist and founder of Beyond the Game
The Pink Game Changer – Nicci Gilbert-Daniels, R&B Diva and creator of digital channel No Ego TV
These PINK APPROVED individuals will be treated to VIP seating, fabulous gift bags, and a token of their achievement.
The evening’s soundtrack will be provided by DJ Salah and fan favorite R&B crooner Anthony David will take the stage for a dynamic performance.
In 2009, breast cancer turned the life of agency CEO/founder April Love upside down. Now at the close of 2014, Love is approaching her fifth year of life after diagnosis and is in great health. With a new outlook, Love has a purpose to live a full life and spread love each year with the annual PINK IN DECEMBER.
April Love shares, “We only have one life to live. It’s important that we share our testimonies to strengthen others, celebrate our victories no matter how small or big, and love on each other while we still can.”
