Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta’s Karlie Redd has a lot to smile about these days. The reality-star, singer, entrepreneur and rising actress recently debuted the new music video for her current single, “Heartbreaker” feat. Young Dro. The invite-only event was held Thursday night and was presented by Exclusiv Vodka. Freddyo of Freddyo.com also served as co-presenter and hosted the viewing party at his popular Tees and Quotes store in the Castleberry Hill District – Atlanta.
A number of Redd’s friends and supporters were spotted on the red carpet including Love and Hip Hop creator and media mogul, Mona Scott-Young; We are Toonz, creators of the “Nay-Nay” dance; Vawn from Bravo’s The New Atlanta; Kelsey Nicole from VH1’s Couple’s Therapy; Mama T.I.; and Dallas Austin’s new boy group, Final Draft.
During an impromptu Q&A answer session, Redd dished about the new project and how it would be the last sad song of hers for a while since she has found a new lover named Anthony. She also talked about her new cosmetic line, Sins & Forgiveness, her new clothing line and her desire to open up a boutique.
Redd also gloated about starring alongside Chris Rock in his upcoming film TOP FIVE. The movie, which was recently picked up by Paramount Pictures, includes a laundry list of A-List comics and actors. To our surprise, Redd playfully revealed that she and Rock would have a few sex scenes throughout the movie.
After the Q&A, press were treated to a sneak peek of her video “Heartbreaker,” which was directed by Gabrielle Hurtt.
