South African and Latin-American dance champion, Keoikantse “Keo” Motsepe is making history this year by joining ABC’s popular competition series, Dancing With the Stars. He is the show’s first ever dancer of color and we’ll get a chance to see him in action when the show returns September 15.
Motsepe comes from the British version of DWTS called Strictly Come Dancing which he joined in 2013. He has also performed as part of the Burn the Floor World Tour where he served as the principle male dancer. That gig also afforded him the opportunity to perform as a soloist at London’s famed Shaftesbury Theatre – West End.
Keo has formal dance training in Latin American, Ballroom and Contemporary and has performed on South African Idol.
