Nicole Ari Parker can now add radio host to her long list of accomplishments. The busy mother and actress is teaming up with MC Lyte, Loni Love, and Angelique Perrin on their popular internet radio show, Café Mocha. According to ESSENCE, Parker will serve as the show’s special celebrity correspondent and has been a regular since last fall.
“Nicole has been guest-hosting the show since November 2013 and the response from the listening audience was overwhelming,” said Sheila Eldridge, creator and executive producer of Café Mocha Radio. “As the only mother of the show, she offered inside into parenting and other challenges the working mom faces. Her perspective and insight on issues and topics was a welcomed addition to the show and we knew we had to keep her in the mix.”
In addition to the radio gig, Parker will continue her role on the NBC drama Revolution as well as guest appearances alongside her husband Boris Kodjoe on the BET comedy, Real Husbands of Hollywood.
Parker is also a thriving business woman with her Save Your Do Company, her Sophie’s Voice Foundation and I Strive to Thrive, health and wellness campaign.
