When I talked to producer extraordinaire Mona Scott-Young in April, she indicated that she was looking at expanding her Love and Hip-Hop empire to other markets and was seriously eyeing Miami.
Well now it looks like Mona got her wish but it won’t be on the sandy shores of South Beach. Instead, the queen of must-see-ratchet TV is taking her hip-hop franchise to the west coast.
According to TheYBF, Love and Hip-Hop is setting up shop in New Orleans, Houston and Los Angeles. “Yes, we are casting in LA as well as Houston & New Orleans. We are talking to a lot of great prospects and are excited about the potential cast in all 3 cities.”
Although it has been rumored that Ray J and singer girlfriend Teairra Mari have been cast for the L.A. spin off, the producers are saying otherwise. “No final decisions have been made on cast or next city.”
Also confirmed are season three returns for Love and Hip-Hop NYC and Atlanta.
RC will keep you posted on this story as more developments are sure to come.
What are your thoughts about Love and Hip-Hop expanding its reach?
