Kanye West has had his share of issues with the paparazzi but his latest incident could land him in some pretty hot water. NYDailyNews is reporting that Friday’s run-in with the photographer could result in West being charged with attempted robbery. Reportedly, the cameraman aka Dano is pursuing a more serious charge against the rapper versus assault and battery.
According to the TMZ video, Dano and a slew of other photographers approached West as he was exiting LAX. Dano began throwing a barrage of questions at the rapper, who warned media last week not to ever talk to him. West, clearly irritated by the questions, approaches his awaiting car, drops his bags and walks toward Dano asking “What you’re trying to do is get me in trouble. So I’ll have to pay you like $250,000!”
West then lunges at Dano and tries to take the camera equipment away from him when the video gets blurry. The end of the tape shows West’s car fleeing the scene. Allegedly, Dano was injured during the scuffle and needed assistance from the paramedics and police. (pictured on the left)
Ironically, Dano is the same photographer that was attacked by Britney Spears in 2007. The pop singer lashed out at him by hitting his SUV with an umbrella, TMZ reports.
