Peter Thomas of RHOA fame held a press conference on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at his Atlanta hotspot, Bar ONE to announce he will create an UnScripted Reality Awards show.
Thomas has taken it upon himself to honor the best and brightest in reality TV with his new award show UnScripted. He & his supermodel wife, Cynthia Bailey, called Atlanta’s hottest celebrities out to Bar One to make this announcement.

In his opinion, it only makes sense for his industry to have it’s own awards ceremony just like everyone other medium does.
“There is an award show that acknowledges and honors the incredible talent and overwhelming influence of Reality TV Stars,” the Real Housewives of Atlanta star said in a statement. “Just as the film community has the Oscars, the music community has the Grammys, and the television community has the Emmys, this award show will bring focus to the genre that is steadily making a huge mark on popular culture.”
The ceremony will supposedly be held at Woodruff Arts Center on September 4, 2013.
