Oprah Winfrey is bringing her popular network to the UK. The media mogul announced yesterday that she was teaming up with Discovery Network for the launch of block programming in the United Kingdom. The mashup would bring programs such as her Oprah’s Next Chapter and Oprah’s Master Class to the British viewing audience.
According to Indie Wire, the programming block marks a drive to bring broad general entertainment content to TLC and bring OWN content to DNI’s female flagship channels. Winfrey’s other flagship programs, Oprah’s Lifeclass and Super Soul Sunday are also part of the line-up that will premiere on TLC in the UK.

OWN will continue to air internationally through its partnership with Passion Distribution.
