Yahoo! is hitting the road this summer for a 21-day traveling music festival that features hip hop giant Jay-Z and newcomer Kendrick Lamar along with special guests Justin Timberlake, Trey Songz, J. Cole and Frank Ocean. The big announcement was made this week during SXSW’S Interactive portion.
According to THR, Yahoo! on the Road boasts “a daily mobile entertainment and innovation festival featuring the world’s hottest bands, comedians and surprise guests.” The tour promises 32 performers, 10 comedians and one yodeler.
The traveling fest includes 14 stateside shows beginning May 3 in New York City and ending on May 31 in San Francisco. It will then “cross the pond” for seven European dates including stops in Berlin and Paris.
A dazzling London finale will coincide with the annual Yahoo Wireless Festival, which will be co-headlined by HOV and JT.
