Universal Music is confirming that Canadian born hip hop star Drake will debut the first single from his highly anticipated third album on the night of the 55th Annual Grammy Awards.

The show, which airs on Sunday, February 10 on CBS, will also feature performances from Alicia Keys, Frank Ocean, Maroon 5 and Justin Timberlake, who is enjoying a career revival with the hit single, “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay-Z.

According to Billboard, Cash Money Records co-CEO, Birdman, predicts the new Drake song, “Started from the Bottom” is just the beginning of great things for the rapper who skyrocketed to fame with his infamous 2009 mixed tape.

“This year we got something in store,” he said. “We got a new record coming out this year. It’s just one of those nights that, after seeing each other together, that’ll be like the highlight of our night, the highlight of our life, the highlight of our year.”

In addition to the performance, Drake is also up for three awards: Best Rap Performance for HYFR (Hell Ya F—g Right), Best Rap Song for “The Motto,” and Best Album for his second project, Take Care.

Congratulations Drake and looking forward to hearing the new song!
