Grammy-winning singer Usher is putting his money where his mouth is by donating to this year’s UNCF: An Evening with the Stars. The versatile entertainer and father of two is offering up a scholarship to a deserving youth through his New Look Foundation, a non-profit organization that trains future leaders in the areas of talent, education, career and service.
The noted performer recently talked to BET about his new partnership and why it was imperative for him to get involved. Each year, the UNCF raises funds to send deserving students to top colleges and universities across the country. The students this year have amazing stories of triumph over adversity to reach their goals to a priceless education.
