Hip Hop Dx is reporting that Maybach Music’s Rick Ross was involved in a drive-by shooting incident early yesterday morning in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Reportedly, Ross and his girlfriend Shateria L. Moragne-el were traveling back from Miami’s LIV Nightclub, when several rounds were fired at his Rolls Royce Phantom. To avoid being hit, Ross crashed his luxury car into a building. Luckily no one was injured.
According to BET, police were called to an intersection in the South Florida neighbor around 5 a.m. in response to reports of a car accident and gun shots being fired. Upon their arrival, law enforcement discovered Ross’ car had slammed into a residential building after being fired upon by an unknown vehicle. Apparently, the suspects in the shooting fled the scene after the car accident.
Ironically, Ross had just celebrated his 37th birthday with Diddy. The hip hop star’s birthday was yesterday (January 28).
