Hip Hop Dx is reporting that father-to-be Kanye West and King of Leon will headline New York City Governors Ball this summer.
West will join an all-star lineup including Nas, Erykah Badu, Miguel, Azealia Banks and Kendrick Lamar from June 7-9 at Randall’s Island. A third headliner is expected to be added to the roster that includes 60 acts spanning from electronica to hip-hop and Americana.
West most recent NYC appearance made headlines when he performed on stage wearing a leather skirt with leggings at the 12.12.12 benefit concert for Hurricane Sandy relief. He also caused a quite a stir during his NYE Revel show where he performed wearing a few bejeweled and feathered masks. It was also there that he spilled the beans about Kim Kardashian being pregnant with his first child.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 25.
