As if the Supebowl half-time show was not enough, Beyoncé has been tapped to sing the national anthem at President Obama’s second inauguration on Monday, January 21.

Mrs. Knowles-Carter will be joined by music veteran James Taylor and American Idol alum Kelly Clarkson.

Taylor will reportedly sing “America the Beautiful,” while Clarkson will perform, “My Country, Tis of Thee,” which Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin so famously performed back in 2009 at the first Obama inauguration.

Knowles-Carter has been a staunch supporter of the President and First Lady over the past few years, having hosted an Obama fundraiser last fall with husband Jay-Z and penning one of her famous handwritten letters to First Lady Michelle Obama last spring. This is King Bey’s second time performing at an inauguration. She sang, the Etta James classic tune, At Last  during The Neighborhood Inaugural Ball in 2009.

All the performances will take place on the Capitol steps during the public swearing-in ceremony, where Obama will deliver his second inaugural address. Announcements regarding more inauguration day entertainment are expected to come soon.
