Award-winning entertainer Jennifer Hudson is a scheduled headliner for the 19th Annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert.  The prestigious event is traditionally held in Oslo, Norway, on the day after the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded.  Hudson will be amongst good company; also on the bill is internationally known male vocalist Seal.

Geir Lundestad of the Norwegian Nobel Committee says, “through music, they will help celebrate and promote peace, informing audiences of the extraordinary contributions of the Nobel laureate.”

Past winners of the Nobel Peace Prize include Martin Luther King, Jr., Mother Theresa and our very own two-term President Barack Obama.

Hudson joins a long list of musical divas that have performed at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert including Mariah Carey, Jill Scott, India.Arie, Esperanza Spalding, Rihanna and Alicia Keys.

Don’t forget to check out J-Hud on the cover of REDBOOK Magazine where she talks about loving her new body, her clothing line, and facing the holidays without her mother and nephew.
