Former NYPD Blue heart-throb Henry Simmons is co-starring in a new Lifetime telepic, Stalker. The film is based on Rhonda Saunders’ book Whisper of Fear: The True Story of the Prosecutor Who Stalks the Stalkers.
Simmons joins actresses Mena Suvari, Drea De Matteo and Jodi Lyn O’Keefe in this drama about a hot-headed cop (De Matteo) with a troubled past who teams up with a district attorney (O’Keefe) to bring down a female stalker (Suvari) who is obsessed with her former lovers. Simmons will play Cliff, the partner of De Matteo’s character. Initially he is not enthused to work with her because of her defensiveness and unorthodox methods.
Simmons, who has shared joint success on television and films, will also star in the Fox drama Bones and is tentatively scheduled to appear in the show in late January or early February.
