Fans of rising hip hop star Azealia Banks will have to wait just a little bit longer for her album to drop.
According to a recent tweet, the colorful rapper’s album “Broke with Expensive Taste” will arrive in stores on February 12, 2013 as opposed to this year.
“I have ALOT of REALLY excitin ish happening in btwn! it will ALL make sense as these things start to unravel,” Banks added.
This isn’t the first delay for the controversial artist, whose “1991” EP was pushed back earlier this year before its June release.
Banks made headlines last week after the British fashion magazine Dazed & Confused release the following cover for its September issue. Banks is seen smoking a condom like it’s a cigar and with the headline, “Azealia Banks Blows Up.”
Needless to say, the magazine cover has already been banned in seven countries.
