If Men in Black fans were wondering if there would be a fourth film to series, they no longer have to wonder. Sony Pictures has confirmed this week that a fourth installment is in the works.
According to THR, the president of Sony, Doug Belgrad, spilled the beans during an interview.
“We’re very pleased with the financial performance of Men in Black 3,” Belgrad replied, “And we believe it is an ongoing franchise. We’re going to do [another one], but we don’t have clarity yet on how it should be done.”
MIB3 brought in $611 million which is $162 million more than MIB2 and is the highest grossing of all the MIB films.
So, it looks like Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones will live another day to fight off evil aliens and save the planet from total destruction.
