Fresh off their separate crowd-pleasing Essence Music Festival performances, R&B veterans Mary J. Blige and D’Angelo are teaming up for what’s being dubbed the Liberation Tour.
Blige broke the news at the Essence Music Festival this weekend, confirming they will tour together for much of August.
Together D’Angelo and Blige will play twenty dates in August. While a full list has not been revealed as of yet, Blige does have four dates locked in for August including stops in Boston and Virginia Beach…

- Aug. 19 Wantagh, NY (Nikon Theatre at Jones Beach)
