Noah Stewart is the first African-American to top the UK Classical Charts. While that may not be a big deal to the average music lover, it is certainly a big deal for those of us that follow classical music but often do not see faces that look like us. But now there is NOAH!
So, you’re not familiar with Noah Stewart? Here is a quick rundown about the brotha that is changing the face of classical music.
- He is from Harlem, USA
- He attended prestigious The Juilliard School in NYC
- He has performed background for Mariah Carey, Coolio and Hootie and The Blowfish
- He is currently starring as Radames in “Aida” in Cooperstown NY now through Aug. 25
- He currently has an album out simply titled, “Noah”
