It’s no secret that Mary J. Blige likes to play dress up!
Remember a few years back when she did a photo shoot for Essence Magazine that was inspired by the movie “Mahogany?” What about the women’s empowerment T-shirt collection she co-branded with style icon Catherine Malandrino?
So it no surprise that the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul is in the works to produce her own clothing line.
Huffingtonpost.com is reporting that Mary let the cat out of the bag this past Thursday night while in in China for the “One Night Only in Beijing” fashion show. Apparently she talked to WWD [Women’s Wear Daily] about her being in the infancy stages of creating a line that will include everything from shoes and boots to clothing to “great fitted jeans.”
Blige admitted she is no Georgio Armani but she is willing to give it a shot!
