Tyler Perry studios was on fire tonight in southwest Atlanta, literally! According to Fox News, Atlanta fire officials say they were fighting a 4-alarm blaze at Tyler Perry studios that has damaged a building on the complex.
Atlanta Fire Department spokesman Capt. Jolyon Bundrige says the fire happened before 9 p.m. Tuesday and there have been no immediate reports of injuries. He says the cause of the fire was not immediately known. Fortunately, around 10 p.m. firefighters managed to extinguish the flames.
The studio’s website says it includes a 200,000-square-foot studio, five sound stages and a 400-seat theater in southwest Atlanta.
