Does Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade have a future as a shoe designer? Well, it appears that way. The one-time NBA MVP recently designed a few pairs of custom shoes for the luxury shoe brand Del Toro.
According to BET.com, Wade was so inspired by shoes that were created for him by Del Toro designer Matthew Chevllard that he decided to design his own pair of high-end loafers. One pair is a suede berry loafer and the other is a patent cow skin wing tip.
Don’t go pulling out your credit cards just yet. The shoes are not available for mass markets and are custom made only.
Whether this is something that Dwayne wants to pursue as a post NBA career or a hobby is too early to say. Nevertheless, we like it and can’t wait to see him rock these off the court or in a magazine. Speaking of magazines, don’t forget to check out Dwayne Wade in this month’s edition of Vogue!
