More installments are on the horizon for R. Kelly’s video drama series Trapped in the Closet!
The first twelve installments of Trapped in the Closet were aired in 2005, with the following chapters in 2007. According to IFC, the new ‘soap opera/musical’ will be broadcast on their website with the original characters.
IFC promises a continuation of the suspense, mystery, humor and drama packed with cliffhangers and unexpected twists and turns. R. Kelly serves as executive producer of the series and also writes, stars and co-directs with Jim Swaffield.
In an announcement this week, R. Kelly said, “The Alien is back and it has brought friends along.” The debut for Trapped in the Closet: The Next Installment is unclear but if it’s as outrageous as the first 22 chapters, we are in for a treat!
