DSC_0311Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s follows the loud, loving and often singing Montgomery family as they work to expand their empire, one soulful dish at at time. In this new season, Miss Robbie and Tim are taking their soul food dynasty to the stars and fanfare of L.A. where they are opening their fifth restaurant, which is located in the North Hollywood.

In addition to the new restaurant, Tim has to also relocated his all-star team–Charles, Danielle, Bruce and Chloe— across the country to help bring Sweetie Pie’s signature style and flavor to this big-time city, but not everyone plays nice. The group may help keep things spicy with their antics and but will they be able to stand the L.A. heat?

Check out more pics below from the red carpet as well as sneak peek of this season. In the clip, Miss Robbie stops in on Tim and the crew to see if the new North Hollywood or “NoHo” location is up to her standards. If it’s not, some heads are gonna role because Miss Robbie don’t play!

Earlier this month we reported that Oprah Winfrey’s network OWN had ordered additional episodes of Iyanla Fix My Life  featuring life coach Iyanla Vanzant. Well, now a few details have surfaced about some of the new summer episodes including one starring R&B Diva Syleena Johnson.

According to Indie Wire, Iyanla: Fix My Life  will attempt to help mend the volatile relationship between the R&B singer and reality starlet and her mother. Vanzant will also address the issues of a couple on the verge of financial ruin, what to do with free loading family members, and the truth behind a mother behaving badly.

Also scheduled to return this summer are new episodes of two OWN original series. First up is Welcome to Sweetie Pies, where Miss Robbie and her son Tim, debate the potential shutdown of their original Sweetie Pies soul food restaurant location. Tim also faces the possibilities of being a single father. Oprah: Where Are They Now  will feature new episodes with updates on Oprah’s sister, Fab Morvan from 90’s music group Milli Vanilli, A Different Strokes  actor Todd Bridges and some of our favorite American Idol  Contestants.

It all begins on July 7th with new episodes of Oprah’s Life  class  and the 90-minute episode featuring Iyanla Vanzant and Winfrey addressing the reaction to their hugely popular ‘Fatherless Sons’ episode. The conversation will also continues on July 14 and 21, when the two ladies address ‘Daddyless Daughters’ as a two-part special.

RC will keep you posted as more information about these new OWN programs becomes available.
