WATCH a Sneak Peek of ‘Mary Mary’ returning to WEtv March 3 (VIDEO)

Posted by | Ray Cornelius

The Mary’s are back for another season on WEtv and here’s a sneak peek of what to expect…

Last season left audiences in limbo with Erica and Tina Campbell focusing on their individual careers…forcing Mary Mary into an indefinite hiatus. The sisters, now in direct competition with each other, are also feeling pressure to keep Mary Mary in the game…even if that means replacing a Mary! Tune in to season 5 of WE tv’s “Mary Mary”, premiering Thursday, March 3 at 9PM ET/PT.

unnamed-42This season, Erica Campbell is at the top of her game having won a Grammy, Dove and Soul Train Award; meanwhile Tina’s solo career is on the rise. These, now, solo sisters have become accustom to being at the top as part of the dynamic duo that is Mary Mary; however for the first time ever, they are competing for the same spot on the charts.

In the premiere episode, Warryn Campbell begins to feel pressure from Sony Records to deliver the next, long awaited, Mary Mary album. He immediately enlists Erica to help convince Tina that this is the right time to resurrect Mary Mary. Erica believes she has the perfect plan to get Tina onboard; however, it may not be foolproof as Tina is solely focused on her solo effort and is finally seeing her hard work pay off. With success come countless responsibilities, leaving Tina feeling a bit overwhelmed. Her husband Teddy’s task of keeping her from breaking under the pressure proves to be more challenging than expected.

Former Mary Mary manager, Mitchell Solarek, has finally moved on from his tumultuous relationship with the Mary’s; and just when he thinks he made a clean break, his new client will only work with one producer…Warryn Campbell. With Warryn on the hook for a Mary Mary album will do everything he can to stay in Sony’s good graces; even if the result is making a deal with the devil and possibly recasting Mary Mary.

Can Mary Mary survive the pressures of Erica and Tina’s individual ventures and personal lives, or will their success be the demise of Mary Mary?

You can’t think, ‘This is it [during the lean times], because that’s when it’s going to break open for you. You’ve got to be ready; you’ve got to be prepared. Whatever you’re dealing with seems like a mountain to you, but we truly aren’t in it alone. OH NO! Marital Mayhem for both Trina Braxton and Tina Campbell

Posted by | Ray Cornelius

Things are not looking so good for the marriages of Braxton Family Values  star Trina Braxton as well as Mary, Mary  siren Tina Campbell. Here is the rundown…

UPTOWN  is reporting that Braxton recently served her husband Gabriel Adrian-Solis divorce papers. According to a report from TMZ: “[Braxton] filed divorce docs in Georgia court claiming her marriage was irretrievably broken. Trina and Gabriel tied the knot in August 2003, separated in March 2013, and are currently living in separate pads.”

This news comes as no surprise considering Trina and Gabe’s martial woos were played out each week on the hit reality series. Both have confessed to cheating on each other and have tried several times to reconcile their union despite the various opinions from Braxton’s siblings. However, Trina is claiming that this time the “there is no hope of reconciliation” and is currently in the process of working out a financial agreement with Solis to divide their assets and debts. Let’s hope these two can at least come to an agreement on this part.

8th Annual Jazz in the Gardens Day 2 - Press RoomIn other news, Tina Campbell is soliciting prayers and encouraging the saints to fast with her for 30-days in order to restore her marriage. According to S2S,  she and her husband Teddy are on the fence about their future together after her much publicized EBONY  article. In the interview, Campbell revealed that her husband had cheated on her and that she initially wanted to kill him. Since that time, their marriage has taken a turn for the worse and the two of them are now reaching out to fans for help.

“Well, I’m actually writing you on behalf of my husband Teddy and I,”  Tina wrote, assuming that most of her fans had read the revealing piece in Ebony. “Well since the article, the challenges have worsened. My hope turned into hopelessness & despair and I became unwilling to forgive and fight, until God showed me myself.”

Campbell also admits that Teddy’s infidelity was not the only problem but that she too has struggled with a few personal issues that have affected their union including anger, rage and unforgiveness. Ultimately, she puts blame on the devil for their marital issues and says that he is the real source of their problem.

“The devil wanted to use strongholds that took hold of our lives in our childhood, to remain and destroy us as adults. So now instead of being mad at each other we’re mad at the devil and we’re ready to fight,”  Tina wrote.

With that being said, The Campbells are asking all believers to join them in fasting and prayer this month. 2 Chronicles 7:14 and James 5:16 are the scriptures they’re suggesting fans should use in their prayers.

listen up: Erica Campbell’s ‘A Little More Jesus’

Grammy-winning vocalist Erica Campbell is humming to a different tune these days. The Mary, Mary singer has released her first single entitled “A Little More Jesus.” The song is just a taste of what fans can expect from her forthcoming solo project. In fact, Campbell alluded to several other solo endeavors from both her and sister, Tina Campbell during a recent interview with Sister2Sister:

“You can expect music from me, possibly a children’s book and children’s music from Tina [Campbell]. I think she wants to just take a break and breathe,” explained Erica, who is anxious, but still looking forward to a new phase of her career.  I’m excited about doing something different. You gotta flip it up every now and again. It’s been 12 years, so it’s time to flip it around.”
