Paula Patton is set to join the already cast Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg in the comic-book adaptation of 2 Guns! Hopefully the negotiations go as planned and Patton will play Washington’s love interest.
The action-thriller 2 Guns follows a DEA agent and an undercover naval intelligence officer who are unknowingly investigating each other while both are trying to steal mob money. And neither of them is aware that they are both being set up to steal money from the CIA, and not the mob. It’s unknown which of the two roles the actors will play.
Production has not started for the film. 2 Guns will be the first pairing of Washington and Wahlberg in a movie. Patton and Washington, however, will be reuniting since teaming-up in 2006 for Déjà vu.
