It looks like Oscar winning-actress Octavia Spencer has landed another role.
According to BET.com, “The Help” actress will star in the romantic comedy Baggage Claim along with Paula Patton and Derek Luke.
Patton plays a flight attendant who has 30 days and 30,000 miles to find a husband. Luke will play the male lead while Spencer’s role has not been specified.
Spencer has been quite the busy actress these days. RC just reported that she was may be joining the cast of Rush Hour 4 with Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan. She is also starring in Diablo Cody’s untitled project which is wrapping up production.
She is also set to star in the sci-fi movie Snowpiercer, the comedic-drama Smashed in which she will play a recovering alcoholic and is currently filming Fruitvale where she will play a tough and protective mother.
RC is looking forward to seeing Spencer back on the big screen soon!
