Here’s an exciting new international trailer for Triple 9 that is sure to get your heart pumping! The 2-minute clip features Oscar nominated-actor Chiwetel Ejiofor, Anthony Mackie, Oscar wining-actress Kate Winslet and veteran film star Woody Harrelson.
As previously reported, Triple 9 follows a group of corrupt police officers who are blackmailed into pulling off a seemingly impossible heist. In order to do so they must murder a rookie police officer in order to orchestrate a “999” which is code for “officer down.” The film also features Casey Affleck, Aaron Paul, Norman Reedus and Atlanta stage favorite E. Roger Mitchell. Triple 9 is directed by John Hillcoat and is also written by Matt Cook.
