October is already shaping up to be good month for Kerry Washington. Not only is the Emmy-nominated actress on the cover of Glamour magazine’s breast cancer issue but her hit political series, Scandal returns to ABC for its third season.

According to ESSENCE, the network is planning to air Scandal: The Secret is Out on October 3 at 8 p.m. This one-hour special will hopefully give some insight on a lot of the twist and turns that left us gladiators hanging at the end of season 2. The special will be followed by the season 3 premiere at 10 p.m. EST.
