Imagine losing your job and your boo all in the same day. Well that is what happens to Darrin Dewitt Henson in the new Black rom-com, Black Coffee aka Black Coffee, No Sugar, No Cream.
The new indie film stars Henson as Robert, a young L.A. urbanite that gets fired from his dad’s company and feels like he’s at the end of his rope, that is until he meets the beautiful Morgan (Gabrielle Dennis). With the help of his cousin (Christian Keyes), Robert is about to turn his unfortunate situation around, that’s if he can keep his ex-gold-digging girlfriend (Erica Hubbard) at bay and Morgan’s ex-husband (Lamman Rucker) from wining her back.
Black Coffee is written and directed by Mark Harris and will debut in AMC Theaters in Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago and Washington D.C. on January 10.
