It’s been said that when it rains, it pours and that could not be truer for actor Columbus Short.
The 31-year-old troubled star was arrested early Saturday morning for public intoxication after getting into a scuffle over an unpaid bar tab.
According to NYDailyNews, Short was enjoying his 4th of July holiday at the Katy Trail Ice House Bar and restaurant. After so many drinks, he decided to leave the establishment but was stopped by a security officer at the door for not paying his bill. Reportedly, the two men got into a shouting match when police came over to access the issue. That is when Short allegedly turned on them and was later arrested and booked for public intoxication.
The incident comes after several other run-ins with the law this year including an arrest for hitting a patron at an L.A. restaurant and a restraining order issued by his estranged wife Tanee Short. Unfortunately, the off-camera drama led to him being removed from the popular ABC program, Scandal.
