Kudos goes to Oscar-winner and soon-to-be Star Wars diva, Lupita Nyong’o!
The 12 Years a Slave actress leaked her first ad for the luxury brand Lancôme Paris and she looks absolutely radiant. The image appears on her Facebook page with the caption: “The secret I never intended to keep: @lancomeUSA #TeintIdoleUltra24H”
The Kenyan beauty lights up the photo with her flawless cocoa skin, ‘come hither’ eyes and signature cropped cut.
As previously reported, she is Lancôme’s first-ever Black ambassador and the fourth Academy Award-winning actress to represent the cosmetic and skincare brand. She is currently promoting Teint Idole Ultra 24H line, which is available in 29 shades for all skin tones.
“I am truly honored to join the Maison Lancôme, a brand with such a prestigious history that I have always loved,” said Nyong’o when it was first announced in April. “I am particularly proud to represent its unique vision for women and the idea that beauty should not be dictated, but should instead be an expression of a woman’s freedom to be herself.”
In other news, Lupita has been inducted in The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The big news was announced Thursday (June 26) with Nyong’o being the only African-American actress in a class of 271 inductees.
Other notables include comedian and actor Chris Rock; Captain Phillips star Barkhad Abdi; legendary casting director Robi Reed; jazz icon Stanley Clark; and super producer Pharrell Williams.
