In what is being called the “concert of the year,” the dynamic duo of Big Boi and Andre 3000, better known as Outkast, announced today that they will perform a special one-night-only show in Atlanta on Saturday, September 27 at Centennial Olympic Park.
According to the AJC, the musical extravaganza is being called, “Outkast ATLast” and will feature special guest performances along with an “extended headlining set” from the group. Music will start at 5 p.m.
“It’s only right that we give the hometown what we’ve been giving the rest of the world, Atliens in ATL, homecoming! Festival Killers!,” said Big Boi in a statement. Andre 3000 added, “Coming from Atlanta gave us the freedom to be whatever we ever wanted to be because no one was paying attention. Now that everyone is, we want to say thank you.”
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday (June 16) with general public tickets available on Wednesday (June 18). Tickets range between $55-250 for VIP. Reportedly, since the event is being held at a park, there are no actual seats.
