Deadline is reporting that NAACP Image Award nominee Michael B. Jordan will star in a new film for Fox titled, Men Who Kill.
The project is being developed by pitchman T.J. Fixman and is being described as “an international Bad Boys-style” drama. Reportedly, this is the first action thriller film that is being specifically developed for Jordan, who earned critical acclaim for his role as Oscar Grant in Fruitvale Station.
The 27-year-old actor most recently appeared in the romantic comedy, That Awkward Moment and is slated to star as Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch in next year’s The Fantastic Four. He will also reunite with his Fruitvale director Ryan Coogler for his upcoming drama, CREED. Jordan will play the grandson of Apollo Creed, the character played famously by veteran actor Carl Weathers in the Rocky films.
RC will keep you posted as this project continues to develop.
