Congratulations are in order for Hip Hop star Drake, who at 25 years has achieved his high school education.
The Canadian born rapper tweeted the news last night after spending the last five months in summer school. “97% on my final exam. 88% in the course. One of the greatest feelings in my entire life. As of tonight I have graduated high school!,”
This has always been something he’s wanted to do since he dropped out of school to pursue an acting career at age 15. He even rapped about it in his song, Crew Love.
“My mother was very sick. We were very poor, like broke. The only money I had coming in was off of Canadian TV, ” he told Complex magazine in 2011
Despite having achieved mega success in the music industry, completing his studies has always been a top priority for Drake. Now he can add this to his growing list of accomplish, proving that it’s never too late to get an education.
