The Huffington Post is reporting that 10-time Grammy winner Chaka Khan is teaming up with super-producer David Foster to travel across Europe and Asia with his Friends Tour. The tour kicks off this month and will make stops in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Thailand and Japan.
Khan, who will be celebrating 40 years in the entertainment industry come 2013, is also gearing up for a gospel and jazz album.
“Being in the studio makes me very happy,” Khan said in a press statement. “I am so excited about the new music and the direction on this project. We are having a super great time on tour and the opportunity to connect with my fans is one of the greatest gifts ever.”
Khan is no stranger to singing jazz having released a few albums including Echoes of an Era and ClassiKhan.
