It’s been over 10 years since the death of R&B princess, Aaliyah. But her former music producer is planning to release a new single and posthumous album recorded by the late star.
According to Essence.com, music producer, Jeffrey “JDub” Walker, tweeted this past Sunday that he was looking to release the single, Steady Ground as part of a forth coming Aaliyah album. JDub later on deleted the tweet, but created some buzz around the web and on popular blog sites.
Jeffrey ‘JDub’ Walker worked with Aaliyah on her 2001 self-titled album.
Aaliyah died in 2001 when her plane crashed while leaving the Bahamas. She had just completed the taping of her music video for the single, Rock the Boat.
