Does love really conquer all? Well that is what filmmaker Ava DuVernay attempts to answer in her new movie, Middle of Nowhere.
DuVernay’s premiered her independent film during the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, where she became the first African American woman to receive the Best U.S. Director Award.
The film stars Emayatzy Corinealdi, David Oyelowo, and Omari Hardwick, who also starred in DuVernay’s last offering, I Will Follow with Salli Richardson.
Middle of Nowhere arrives in theaters October 12.
