80s action star Jean-Claude Van Damme is teaming up with Tony Award-winning TV, film and stage actress Phylicia Rashad for the Amazon series titled “Jean-Claude Van Johnson.”
It follows Van Damme as Jean-Claude Van Johnson, a retired martial arts and action movie star played by who begins working as a private undercover agent. The cast also includes Kat Foster, Ian Fisher and Moisés Arias.
Van Damme rose to superstardom in the 1980s and 90s as in-demand martial arts action film star. He appeared in a number of classics that defined the movie genre including “Bloodsport,” “Kickboxer” and “Double Impact.”
“Jean-Claude Van Johnson” premieres on December 15, 2017.
