The #SSTAKEOVER recently took place this past weekend in Atlanta, GA and was deemed a huge success by its host Jimmy Da Plug and all of those who attended. The weekend combined automotive enthusiasts with Polaris SlingShot owners as well as fans, friends and family.
Festivities kicked off on Friday (June 17) with a small gathering of the SlingShot owners at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, where they were greeted with special amenities, media, and great southern hospitality. These custom roving roadsters made a bee line down to the Atlanta Motor Speedway for the SlingShot Race Night held in Hampton, Georgia. While at the speedway, more SlingShot owners were lined up for an illuminating parade of custom built automobiles; all from a variety of states including Maryland and Florida.
On Saturday (June 18) the#SSTAKEOVER Meet & Greet/Cook Out was met with an array of fans, friends, family and owners who marveled at the design and authentic work that has been custom designed on several SlingShots. Hosted at Indian Motorcycle of Marietta SlingShot Exclusive Dealer, this event drew out several members of the bike community to come socialize, eat and drink. Many members were able to network with other owners and enthusiasts, participants were able to sign up for a test drive, and everyone was met with several surprise giveaways and memorabilia.
“We were able to make some solid connections and build some new business relationships” stated Horace Clarington, the business manager of JJackson Live, “Thank you for giving us the opportunity to attend the #SSTakeover event”.
